Jeremy & Vanessa Gude

jgudeJeremy and Vanessa have been involved with Cities4Life since 2014 where they ministered in front of Charlotte’s busiest abortion mill.  When God called us to relocate to the Tampa Bay area, we saw the need for God to help bring together the pro-life movement.  We know that the only hope for these mothers and their babies is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We minister as a family with our four children Austin, Matthew, Emily, and Aletheia at one of the five local abortion mills in Tampa.

Why Cities4Life:

We want to see the church in Tampa Bay stand up for those who cannot speak for themselves.  We see God moving in Tampa Bay and feel that Cities4Life can bring together the frontlines sidewalk counselors, Pregnancy Centers, and the churches together for one common goal to end abortion.  We want to bring light into the darkest places in Tampa Bay.

Education – Current Profession

Jeremy – 2014 Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary

Vanessa – Wife and Homeschool Mother

Dick and Debbie Maxwell

Dick MaxwellDick and Debbie met in the Dominican Republic where Debbie had been living and serving for seven years as a nurse/missionary and after their marriage they served together there for five more years evangelizing and ministering to the local Church to help establish training centers to equip the saints. They have a heart for evangelism and for seeing the Church become visible on the streets and they take others to the streets to preach the Gospel. They felt called to stand up for the pre-born in 2009 and have since been ministering the Gospel in front of local abortuaries on a weekly basis and more when possible.

They have been networking and working with fellow warriors across Florida and with national leadership who are of a like passion. God had been building a vision in Dick’s heart for the last few years but he didn’t understand how it was to manifest until February, 2015 when at a leaders conference for a national organization he heard a talk on Cities4Life and immediately he knew what God had in mind.

Dick and Debbie have an adopted son and a biological daughter who were both born in the Dominican Republic. Moses is 22 and on his own. Destiny, 16, is in eleventh grade at Elfers Christian School in Elfers, FL and spends time in front of the clinics ministering in prayer as the Gospel and life are proclaimed.

Why Cities4Life

Debbie has an unquenchable passion to cry out for preborn children and an equal passion to see the Church rise up to do the same. Dick has known since the beginning that what they were called to was much bigger than just fighting abortion. Along with his concern for the preborn, his heart’s desire is to see the Bride of Christ rise up in the battle and no matter what the outcome, to manifest the glory that Jesus told our Father had been placed in us, John 17:22.
